Located just north of the quaint town (ONE traffic light!) is a family-run RVP along the creek. Canoe and Kayak enthusiasts use this park for paddling adventures as they sell or rent equipment also. There is a golf driving range too. Sites are all gravel, back-in - some long the Cedar Creek, some across the drive. Level with a picnic table & fire ring. Laundry and bath house a decent walk from the sites. Downtown boasts a bunch of antique shops ~ but the jewel is the public park with a natural spring pumping 200,000+ gallons of fresh, clear water out daily. Locals bring their drinking water bottles, with scoops & funnels to load up on the free-for-the-taking fresh spring water. There are plenty of walking trails around the public park, scattered around a handful of vintage buildings. There is a cave (sometimes closed during bad weather) at the mouth of the spring, housed behind a stone entrance. This property was donated to the citizens by a local Doctor and is well maintained by volunteers. You can walk around the 3 or 4 blocks that surround the square, but there is not a lot of room for large RVs to park. Bring your camera, and the dog on a leash. The kids will enjoy riding the walking paths too. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
