My husband and I visited Lake Lauderdale Campground in August to spend time with my cousin who has a seasonal site there. We were inspired and since then we bought a travel trailer. We spent the past weekend there and had the nicest time. From checking in and through the entire weekend, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely reserve here in the future.

This was our second year for a September stay. Mark, the owner, along with Marianne, the camp host, are terrific, friendly people and all the seasonal folks we met are, too. We enjoyed walking all through the park, played multiple games of pool in the community spot, enjoyed taking in the gorgeous view from our site. One thing I was too busy to enjoy this time...their wonderful library in a sweet building all its own! We camped here because of its proximity to The Shires of Vermont (Bennington, Arlington and Manchester) and because lovely Lake Lauderdale CG honors Passport America members! Hope to come back again in late spring!

A nice weekend camping trip for us. The rates are low and the amenities were clean. We showed up and they were having a celebration next to the office and everyone was friendly and invited us to join the fun. Lots of trails connected to the campground for hiking and the lake is near by for swimming and fishing. Definitely will be back!

All a round Great place

Marianne welcomed us warmly, led us to our site (top of hill across grass in large open area) & made sure we knew we could ask for help with anything. Invited us to join everyone for live music that evening. If I had been feeling better, we’d have gone. I’m sure it would have been fun. NO Verizon service. “Free” WiFi only in clubhouse. If there had been any Verizon signal, this would be a 5 star rating. Needed to make reservations for upcoming RV parks & had to go to the clubhouse to use WiFi (slow!). Very friendly & helpful seasonal campers there playing cards. Didn’t use bathroom or shower so can’t comment. If there was a store inside, I didn’t see it. Owners need to invest in stocking supplies & pay someone to operate an onsite store for at least some designated hours. Marianne does an awesome job yet I’m pretty sure she can’t be everywhere at once. Would probably return to this park just because of the great community of campers. Improved WiFi would clench a return.

Nice open field so you can watch the stars at night. Fabulous game room. Clean shower room and friendly hosts.

Wonderful campground overall! Very hilly, a lot of folks used golfcarts. Clean shower house and a nice common area. Camp directors were friendly and very attentive. Will definitely recommend and be back!

Maryann and Mike and Mark We’re the best!! Lovely place to stay!

First off let me mention the seasonal campers, AMAZING group of people!!! Very welcoming, made us feel like we were old friends!!! Second bathrooms were very clean, and nice hot water. Maryann was wonderful answering any questions we had. Highly, highly recommend this campground!! Only thing I saw that could use attention was some or the roads, otherwise this campground is a gem! 10/10!!!!!

They are a nice campground. The only things that would make it better would be an actual camp store and someplace to swim.

Wonderful campsite and supportive camp organizers. The bathrooms were spotless was was incredible.

Nice quiet place

We had a great time and really like your park, but were disappointed with the wifi and cell phone service. The wifi connected when we first arrived and then we never saw it again all weekend. Hopefully that will improve for our next visit.

We love staying at the camp ground my grandchildren have an awesome time.

The hostess Mariana couldn’t be any friendlier or more helpful! The bathrooms are kept very clean and the campsites are private with plenty of trees and space between sites. This was our first time here (from Texas) but we’ll definitely be back!

Great, laid back campground with good internet!

It was great except the big dogs barking and people yelling at them all the time. And the other campers making noise at 5 am with pans for cooking and then they went back to sleep. But overall it was so relaxing and much quiet for the most part the roads are well-maintained for primitive camping and I will definitely go back again very soon and my little dog loved it because we were outside. I would recommend this place to everyone that likes to camp because we used our tent, not a camper. I was here less than two years ago and even then it was awesome also. Great people run on the place super Duper nice and a lot of things to do a lot of things to see lots of hiking. Definitely try it out. It is well worth it. And very good priced . As in anything it’s the people who make the difference. You won’t find friendlier more helpful people anywhere. The camp ground is clean and well maintained.

had a good time and the price was right. should have car if you have a class A if you want to go to the lake, it is a hike Walking.

Beautiful area. A lot of trees but also a lot of roots at our site.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The campground looks nothing like the pictures online. There’s a picture of a lake on the website but there’s no actual body of water at the campground. You have to drive a few miles away and pay to swim. The tent sites are on rocks. There was a huge drop off at the site, not safe if you have little kids. I understand it’s outdoors, there’s going to be bugs, but the mosquitos and deer flies were so bad we had to eat in our tent and didn’t bother trying to have a fire. There’s one porta potty out by the tent sites. The bathrooms and showers are not in a reasonable walking distance away. We will not be returning.

We were extremely happy with our visit. There was just 2 little quirks but not a huge issue. First - we didn’t have a grill which was ok I have now issue cooking on open fire (we were prepared) and the 2nd little issue was our fire ring was very slanted we we placed some blocks we brought with us to try and even it out a little. Our site was close to the port-a-potty which was convenient. The poet-a-potty was extremely clean and fresh smelling every time. Overall great place and we’ll definitely be back
