We were the only ones there, which was awesome!

Nice spot just far enough from the freeway to be quiet. Water and Electric! Great spot for an overnight.

Very confusing when we got there. No host. Our site was end to end with another fifth wheel. He had taken part of our site with his truck pulled so far forward. He nicely backed up. We had a reserved spot. However, information at park had instructions posted to just pick any spot and pay. Someone could have taken ours if we hadn't arrived early. There should be reserved signs on site posts for those sites reserved. It is a beautiful park, just managed poorly.

Nice, quiet, little park

Nice campground , clean is on the edge of a golf course, nice and quiet. Did not see my reservation confirmation on my campsite but all worked out. Only one small portable bathroom for all of us to use.

Nice level spots in a quiet park. Lots of shade and a beautiful playground for kids. A shower house with restrooms would be an awesome improvement. Otherwise, just about perfect.

Nice and a quit campground

Let’s make this a two parter. First: my last review concerning reservations and someone already being on your site when you arrive. I received a telephone call the Monday following that ordeal from the person in charge of the campground. Had a really nice conversation with him and he resolved my issues! Second: spent the Fourth of July weekend at North Park Campground in site 11. I was not disappointed! This campground continues to be well run, clean and nicely groomed! Campers wise the weekend was very quiet. The fireworks display was next door to the campground so as expected it was pretty loud. Overall my bride and I love this campground!!!!!

Quit campground with nine hole golf course behind it. Spots are level, firepits, and picnic shelter, play ground on-site. No, shower house or dump station. Overall, nice campground.

There is no one here to assist, you have to register and pay online. The website is terribly slow, took us 20 mins to register. Quiet and simple lineup of sites, we just stayed overnight. No internet, some cell service but sporadic.

So, we stay here fairly often because it is a very nice campground with 30/50 amp and aster hookups. It is usually very clean and neat. Making reservations is fairly easy but a camper can also simply drive in and take an available site. This is where the 3 star rating is coming from. We had reserved a site for a weekend but when arrived, there was a camper already on our reserved site. This camper had just pulled and selected this site for their stay. There is a telephone number to call to speak with a parks person but of course no answer. I ended up taking another site but in the back of my mind, I could be taking another persons site who has not arrived yet. Not a good feeling as your setting your camper up. The campground personnel should come up with some kind of a system of marking sites that are reserved so that folks just pulling in for the night know which sites are actually available. This is Monday and I still have not been able to contact anyone at the campground. A little disappointed…..

Very nice, quiet, minimalist campground. Nice pavilion and playground. The low key golf course at the top of the hill offers a clean bathroom, but no shower. It was open 7 am to 9 pm which worked for us.

Very nice campground. Quiet, roomy spaces and well maintained. We will stay again, if in the area.

We love this place. Great camping in the park with a feeling of being in the open spaces... We will be back. Golf course was in great shape as well...

Nice quiet, clean park.

We arrived well after dark and was a little difficult navigating through the fairground to our site but we made it. I had to turn the trailer around so our hookup was on the right side for the pull through. We booked online which was quite simple. Overall, the area was quiet and clean and would recommend to others. Oh, the walk to New Salem Sue the next morning is about a 1/2 mile so a nice jaunt even if it was windy and a bit raw!

What a great park!!! Very quiet and lovely grounds all around the campsites. Well lighted at night to walk my dog. The owners and New Salem obviously take great pride in caring for this property. A true pleasure staying the one night. Highly recommend!! Just be aware that this is water and electric only.
