Rules

Maximum Length of Stay

We have a maximum stay of 10 nights within a 60 day period

Slide Outs

DURING FAIR: We know that slide outs are becoming a standard feature on RV's. However, in order to accommodate the large number of RV's camping during the week of fair, due to space constraints you may not be able to utilize your slide out. As an alternative, you may purchase an additional space under the same name. If you and a friend would both like to use slide outs, you can purchase one additional space in-between the two of you to allow for the extra room for slide outs. Please make sure that all spaces purchased are under the same name.

Drug Use

Illegal Drugs are not allowed on the property.

Noise Restrictions

Please be considerate of your neighbors and keep noise to a minimum.

Gas Portable Fire Pits Only

Please note, gas fire pits only are permitted. During fair, fires of any kind are prohibited.

Quiet Hours

Thoroughly enjoy yourself but we ask that you observe our quiet hours between 10pm and 7am.

Electrical Cords

No electrical cords will be allowed beyond campsite.

No Dump Station on Grounds

Although we do not have a Dump Station on the grounds, there are several nearby rest areas with dump stations. Please contact Goebel's Septic Service for dumping arrangements at (360)-736-2167.

Pet Policy

Four legged friends are an important part of your lives, and we know they love to stretch out those legs. We do ask that your pet be leashed, kenneled, or contained within your campsite. Please clean up after your pet.

I enjoyed our stay, for us it was the location. I guess I would think you could grade that area out a little and try to get more visitors, campers pay to stay and I think the area could use more places to stay. I totally appreciate no homeless hanging around, the Restrooms were nice. We would stay again. I noticed a RV PARK going in across the street also. Sincerely Charlie Foxen

The Oak Grove campground is right next to a busy road and you can definitely hear the traffic. The road loop around the campground and the site pad were very rocky and pretty rough (rougher than most BLM or Forest Service roads I've been on), so was the "grass" next to site. Definitely needed to use the levelers to get "level". In the field next to the camp, someone was boondocking with several dogs that were running around lose, so had to watch where I walked with my dog. Did have power and water, so a second star for that. Some of the Oak Grove sites closer to the camp entrance might be somewhat better.

Stayed in Oak Grove Site 3- needs to be leveled I wasn’t able to use Site 3 and ended up moving to sight 5 Other than that I do t mind staying at this little spot for a quick over night

No numbered spots, no one to ask for help, and you can't always book, due to website issues. Bumpy ground, RIDICULOUSLY BRIGHT lights all night long, and a drugged out thief that cased the joint and stole from as many campers as possible. Evidently the cops know him by name and arrest him regularly, but nothing real is done about it. NEVER staying there EVER again! We HATED it!!!

If bathrooms were cleaned I would give 5 stars. One had no toilet paper the whole time we were there (8 days) shower, toilets , floors had not been cleaned in quite a while. There was only 1 other person there that stayed 1 night so it's not like they were dirty because lots of people using them. From the looks of them I would say it has been at least a month since cleaned (or more).

The fairgrounds set up was nice. However, the FM spot we stayed at had a broken water bib some spots over that was flowing all weekend long during a heatwave and had deep dried up ruts hidden in the tall grass when you pulled into your spot, so be mindful of lower axled camper trailers

We booked a space for our travel trailer because we were attending at event at the SWW Fairgrounds. We chose a space with electrical hook up. The Good: There was plenty of room to maneuver a truck and trailer in the space and we were the only people camping so neighbors weren’t a bother. The Bad: Our space was covered in broken down wood from the fairgrounds that we had to move out of the way in order to park in the space. If we’d have know we’d be the only campers we would have just parked in another space because it was a lot of work! There was also a bees nest was in the power box we had to remove. It was a basic gravel lot with power poles no charm at all and there was a train right next door going every few minutes but both of these weren’t a bother to us. What we didn’t realize was that most people attending the fairgrounds event just pulled their camper trailers inside the fairgrounds and camped without paying for a spot…so that was a little disappointing to see the rules not being enforced. Overall, okay if you’re just looking for a spot to park for a night if you’re attending a fair event.

New staff, policies in place-confusing at best. RV spots along "white fence" now available for only organizers or elite users of events being held at fairgrounds. Spaces not assigned to "ordinary folks" even though not required by others. Spaces go unused as a result. New grove parking area difficult to get trailers into. Spaces not laid out according to proven plans. Electric panels along west edge of paved lot -water spraying on Pnl 1 & the panel that we used kept popping breaker even though we didn't have it overloaded. Maybe an update on those units is required.

Grass was overgrown just wasn’t groomed and didn’t look good like skinny drive way in the “OG” area but the price was good did have electric and water hook ups They should revamp this area don’t look like they put much effort in it just something they threw together

Stayed in spot #1 on Fri and #2 Sun & Mon. Very little water from the faucet. Not enough to even have to empty the hose when I disconnected it. The electrical hookups for sites 1&2 - only 1/2 of them worked. Had to wait for the other person to leave on Sat to have electrical or try my chances at another farther away spot. I opted to wait since I knew she was leaving that afternoon. They def need some maintenance done out there to make the sites issuable and without issues.

Was passing through and needed a place to rest from driving and I found this great spot. It's close to the highway, grocery outlet as well as Walmart. Nice quiet spot and not expensive at all. Can't go wrong if you need a break from driving your RV.

Came around 8pm. Half the camping spots were flooded, but ours (Oak Grove 9) was dry. No signs indicating showers or bathrooms. Found the bathrooms but they were locked and the mechanisms (code) did not work. No WIFI. Nobody came to check/fix in the morning. Needless to say: we won't be back.

This camp ground is crappy!!! The bathroom are gross. Not clean what so ever.. I've had to ask a couple times, cuz of the hot water. There are lady bugs in the bathrooms. The lights don't work, I had to use a flash light to be able to see in the bathroom when I used it.. I wish I didn't have too put a star on here cuz this place is horrible. I DON'T recommend it at all!! Management sucks as well

Overpriced, had to set up right next to a very active train track, like a station track 24hrs 3 trains an hour 😳. But being the only one there made me want to stay. Office didn’t know where to place me. The new area as they recommended didn’t have water or power. So after they closed I had to fend for myself in finding a spot and resulted in BA11 - less than 25 feet from the tracks 🙄🤦‍♀️. Recommendations having the site marked as they stated, if put in a different location make sure the hookups work as paid for. I hope they figure this out before next time.

Showers weren't hot, but they weren't cold, either. Tepid water was nice on a hot day, anyway. If there's a way to get hot water, instructions in the shower room would be most welcomed! Bathrooms were clean and heated, and although no camping spots were marked with numbers as our reservation promised, it was still easy to car camp. Will definitely use this spot again next year when we vend at the Centralia Fantasy Festival again.

I had read some of the reviews going back about a year. I was a bit concerned but I checked with the trial secretary and she said it was a decent place to stay for the dogshow. Here are my thoughts- 1. This is a county property, counties don't have tons of money. For a county facility, it was quite nice. 2. It seemed that the power and water setups in Oak Grove are newer, we had no issues with either. 3. Negative on the spaces, is that they are quite tight together. However the Oak Grove area was pretty empty, so we only had a couple of folks at the other end. 4. Not the fault of the property, but we did have a strange man and unleashed dog walk through our camp. We told him to leave or we would call police and he moved on. Just something to be aware of, campground is accessible from the street. 5. Someone complained about the train. We had no issues with the train noise. Barely noticed it. 6. Maybe I am just more mellow, but we enjoyed our time there, maybe when the facility is busier the experience is different. On the flip side, you can look online and see what's happening to decide if you want to stay there. 7.I would stay here again.
