Neither do we accept liability for any inconvenience arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water gas or electricity or plumbing. Nor will RV Park Spoonbill at Smith Point, TX. Accept liability for any loss or damage caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God or other reasons beyond its control.

Parking

*NO PARKING IN FRONT OF THE CAMPERS – PARKING ONLY ALLOWED BEHIND CAMPERS (LIMIT 10 MINS FOR UNLOADING MAX.) NO PARKING ON THE LAWN OR EMPTY SITES (CAMPERS MAY SHOW UP THAT HAVE THE SPOT RESERVED*

*GARBAGE IS TO BE BAGGED ONLY NO LOOSE TRASH AND BAGS ARE TO BE PUT IN THE BINS PROVIDED ON FRONT ROW AND BACK ROW DO NOT LEAVE GARBAGE OUTSIDE OVER NIGHT OR THROW ON TOP OF BINS PLEASE OPEN THE LID AND PUT THE BAGS INSIDE AND CLOSE THE LID*

Children

*CHILDREN ARE TO BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES. PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR CHILDREN’S SAFE CONDUCT AND ANY INJURIES OR DAMAGES THEY MAY INCUR OR CAUSE. UNSUPERVISED CHILDREN WHO CAUSE DISRUPTION FOR OTHER GUESTS MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PARK ALONG WITH THE ENTIRE GROUP.*

Respect

Respect privacy of fellow guest – do not walk through occupied sites. Do not move panic tables or benches around without permission to do so.

Smoking

No smoking in any buildings. Do not throw your cigarette butts on the ground.

Pet Rules

Pets are certainly welcome. However, all pets must be under physical control by the owner / handler at all times! Do not leave pets outside unattended. Please do not allow your pets to disturb other campers or go into their camp site. When taking your pets to relieve themselves only use the large grassy area past the back row away from camp sites and stored vehicles / campers. If you pet goes on another's site please clean it up it is not up to other visitors or camp staff to pick up after your pet.

Speed Limit

THE SPEED LIMIT IS 10 MILES PER HOUR. PLEASE BE AWARE OF PEDESTRIANS AND PETS.

Quiet Hours

*QUIET HOURS ARE BETWEEN 11 PM AND 7 AM*

Visitors

*DAY USE VISITORS NEED TO LEAVE BY 11 PM* *FISHING ALLOWED ONLY BY CAMPERS AND REGISTERED VISITORS*

Cleanliness

*CLEANLINESS OF THE PARK IS IMPORTANT TO US* No storage of anything is allowed outside of, or underneath your motor home, camper or trailer. Please place the sewer cap back on when you leave. Please do not flush any feminine hygiene products, diapers or anything other than toilet paper down the toilets. Or pour grease down your drains in your sinks or our bathroom sinks. This causes septic system backups. For cost for washing vehicles or boats please check with the office.

Monthly Renters

**FOR CAMPERS THAT LEAVE THEIR CAMPERS AND GO HOME DURING THE WEEK PLEASE MAKE SURE TO SECURE ALL ITEMS, CLOSE AWNINGS, LET DOWN YOUR ANTENA AND LEAVE YOUR CAMP SITE CLEAN** Also turn off your water supply and when your rig is not in use please be sure your slide outs are kept in.

Love coming here. It’s peaceful and you meet very nice people. Was there this past weekend 5/2/24 to 5/5/24 and meet a family that was great. I would recommend this place.

I have to say that spoonbill rv was the best we have ever stayed although our hosts were not there because of family issues I was contacted by Paul the week before our stay to give me directions and gate codes prior to being there then after we arrived I was contacted by Tammy one of the owners to make sure everything was ok.i was not aware of noon check out and was informed by someone who didn't introduce themselves that they had a camper coming in at noon and needed my spot when right next to me was an open spot that was theonly issue I had for our 4 day stay I was able to breakdown by 12 to have the spot available. Caught plenty of fish and had a great time we will make spoonbill our go to for fishing from now on thanks.

Dennis thank you for your kind review flag you enjoyed it. Normal check out times are 11 am we will usually do noon unless no one is coming I. Spot then we try and let guest stay longer if we can. Some people love one particular spot and will book up to year in advance to get that spot. Sorry for any confusion we will work better on that communication issue! We appreciate your business. The park is very nice, and the hosts are the nicest couple you will ever meet. We were fortunate enough to catch the gentleman selling shrimp for $3 a lb (what a deal!). It's more of a fisherman's paradise, but we really enjoyed the view of the water, and even though it was secluded the teens even liked it, although we only stayed for Labor Day weekend so maybe if we want to stay longer we might leave the teens at home (wink). The restrooms seem to be kept clean from what little I saw of it (we have our own but used it to wash our hands as we were heading out). They offer bait and ice (20 lb) for sale for $5 a piece which is not bad considering we paid more than $5 for a 16lb bag at a gas station near the beach access we went to. We definitely plan on coming back in the near future, hopefully for a longer stay next time.
