Amazingly well kept lush grounds w/oversized lots and clean facilities; pool very well maintained! The staff is very professional and courteous!

Great RV Resort, a little difficult to find, but well worth the trouble. The sites are 1st CLASS with great views of the water & manicured grounds. I would stay again.

Thank you for the great review. Hope to see you again soon!

We saw the Labor Day special on Facebook and saved 33% on our 5 day reservation - Over $100!!! It would have been worth every penny even if we had paid full price. Now that I know it's there, I'll be making frequent weekend trips! By the way, my husband caught some pretty good sized bass and bluegill! Next time we will be bringing the boat!

This Campground is a hidden jewel! It exceeded every expectation that we had. It's close to the town of Okeechobee and not too far from the beautiful beaches of the coast. My family and furry friends had an amazing time. Thank you!!!

Waters edge means you are on a ditch not the lake. You can't even see the lake from the park. Also there is no cell service and no restaurants close. Would not recommend to anyone. Also this is not a big rig park unless you are 40' and under.

Campground Response

I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your time at Water's Edge RV Resort. Unfortunately, you can not see the Lake from any parks due to the Herbert Hoover Dike. This dike was built after the 1928 hurricane that killed as many as 3,000 people and remains in place to this day to prevent future loss of life. Our campground is situated directly on the Rim Canal that circles the lake. You can put your boat in the water at our ramp and head through the locks to Lake Okeechobee. Whether you are out on the big lake or sitting in the Chickee Hut overlooking the canal, the beauty of this area is hard to dismiss. Many guests come to enjoy the leisure lifestyle - fishing, boating, peaceful sunrises and sunsets. While we have no control over cell phone towers or service plans, we do provide the fastest internet available so that our guests may use WI-FI calling and avoid data charges for any and all devices - even allowing high speed streaming. Nonetheless, I'm sorry that we didn't reach your expectations on this trip and we hope that you find a campground that better suits your needs next time.
